Leapmotor has released the first teaser images of its upcoming A10 model, with the small SUV scheduled to make its public debut in one week. Senior vice president Cao Li shared two images of the vehicle on Weibo, showing a LiDAR sensor mounted on its roof — the first official design detail revealed for the new model.

The A10 will be unveiled at the 2025 Guangzhou auto show, which runs from November 21 to 30 at the Canton Fair Complex, with the opening day reserved for media. Leapmotor confirmed earlier this month that the A10 will be the inaugural model of its A-series, reinforcing its previously stated plan to introduce the vehicle at the event.

No technical specifications were released, but the A10 is expected to compete in China’s compact electric SUV segment against vehicles such as the BYD Yuan Up. The Yuan Up, one of the country’s most affordable EVs, measures 4,310 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,675 mm high, with a starting price of RMB 74,800.

The company is preparing for a substantial product expansion over the next two years.

Founder and CEO Zhu Jiangming said during an October media briefing that Leapmotor will launch two A-series vehicles in 2026. “Leapmotor will enter a new product super-cycle in 2026,” Zhu said at the time, adding that 2–3 D-series models would join the existing B-series, Lafa 5 and C-series ranges. The first D-series model, the D19 large SUV, debuted in China on October 16 and is slated to begin deliveries in the first half of 2026.
