Leapmotor has officially launched updated versions of its C10, C11 and C16 sport utility vehicles, strengthening its core product lineup as the Chinese electric vehicle maker pursues ambitious growth targets in 2026.

The three refreshed models, available in both battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) configurations, feature longer driving range, faster charging capabilities and upgraded intelligent driving technologies. Prices start at 125,800 yuan ($18,620).

Core SUV lineup receives major upgrade

The updated C10 is offered in four variants priced between 125,800 yuan and 142,800 yuan. While the entry price is slightly higher than the previous generation’s 122,800 yuan, the model benefits from substantial upgrades in performance and range.

The refreshed C11 is available in five variants priced from 143,800 yuan to 159,800 yuan, undercutting its predecessor’s starting price of 149,800 yuan.

Meanwhile, the updated C16 comes in eight variants priced from 145,800 yuan to 169,800 yuan, also lower than the previous model’s starting price of 151,800 yuan.

The C16 is offered with either five-seat or six-seat configurations, with the six-seat version carrying a 3,000-yuan premium. The C10 and C11 remain five-seat models.

Key models for sales growth

The C-series remains central to Leapmotor’s sales strategy.

According to data compiled by CnEVPost, combined deliveries of the C10, C11 and C16 reached 103,973 units between January and May 2026, accounting for nearly 40% of the company’s total deliveries during the period.

The latest updates are expected to play a major role in helping Leapmotor pursue its target of delivering one million vehicles this year.

800V architecture and longer range

One of the most significant upgrades is the adoption of an 800-volt high-voltage platform across all battery-electric C-series models.

The new architecture increases maximum motor output to 230 kW while improving charging performance and efficiency.

The BEV variants now offer driving ranges of up to 660 kilometers.

For example, the updated C10 BEV increases its CLTC-rated range from 530 kilometers to 660 kilometers, while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.02 seconds.

The EREV versions receive power upgrades as well, with maximum motor output rising to 200 kW.

Fast charging and extended driving range

The updated EREV models provide up to 300 kilometers of pure-electric driving range and support 3C fast charging technology.

Leapmotor says the EREV version of the C10 can travel more than 1,300 kilometers when combining battery and fuel-powered range.

The vehicle can also recharge from 30% to 80% battery capacity in just 16 minutes under suitable charging conditions.

Enhanced intelligent driving technology

All three models are available with advanced intelligent driving hardware, including a high-precision LiDAR sensor and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8650 smart driving processor.

The system supports point-to-point navigation-assisted driving and enhanced driver assistance capabilities.

Inside the cabin, the vehicles are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip and feature a 17.3-inch central touchscreen alongside a 60-inch augmented reality head-up display.

Safety and design improvements

Leapmotor has also introduced a new AI-powered battery management system and its LMC tire blowout stability control technology.

According to the company, the battery packs are designed to avoid fire or explosion for up to 48 hours following thermal runaway incidents.

The refreshed C10 and C16 each gain an additional 10 millimeters in body length, while the updated C11 retains its frameless door design and adds high-performance front four-piston brake calipers.

Supporting Leapmotor’s growth ambitions

Leapmotor delivered more than 260,000 vehicles during the first five months of 2026 and continues to rank among China’s fastest-growing new-energy vehicle manufacturers.

The comprehensive update of its C-series lineup is widely viewed as a critical step in supporting the company’s aggressive full-year target of one million vehicle deliveries.

Among the three models, the updated C16 plays a particularly important role. Its styling now more closely resembles the company’s premium D19 SUV, enhancing its appeal in the increasingly competitive family SUV segment priced between 150,000 yuan and 200,000 yuan.

As competition intensifies among Chinese EV manufacturers, Leapmotor is betting that longer range, faster charging and advanced intelligent driving features will help its flagship SUVs maintain momentum in one of the world’s largest electric vehicle markets.
