KG Mobility has launched the Musso EV in the UK, marking its entry into the growing electric pickup segment as demand rises for zero-emission commercial vehicles.
The Musso EV starts at £42,495 including VAT and incorporates the UK’s Plug-in Van Grant. The model will be available for customer test drives from May 2026.
The vehicle is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering 152 kW and 339 Nm of torque. It is equipped with an 80.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supplied by BYD, offering a WLTP range of up to 240 miles.
The battery uses cell-to-pack technology and supports DC fast charging at up to 300 kW, enabling a charge from 20% to 80% in around 31 minutes, according to the company.
With a payload of 690 kg and towing capacity of up to 2.3 tonnes, the Musso EV is positioned to meet the needs of commercial operators while also appealing to private buyers. Features such as load-sensitive rear suspension and adjustable regenerative braking aim to enhance efficiency and stability under varying conditions.
The pickup also includes vehicle-to-load capability, allowing it to power tools or external equipment, while the load bed is designed with cargo management features and a reinforced tailgate.
Inside, the Musso EV offers a dual 12.3-inch display setup, integrating the instrument cluster and infotainment system, along with heated and ventilated seating and a spacious cabin layout.
Safety systems include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and blind spot detection, supported by a 360-degree monitoring system and reinforced body structure.
Kevin Griffin said the model represents a step forward in expanding electric options in the pickup market, combining utility with zero-emission driving.
The launch reflects broader industry efforts to electrify light commercial vehicles as regulations tighten and fleet operators seek lower-emission alternatives.
