Juiced Bikes, known for its powerful and fast electric bicycles, has taken the wraps off its latest creation, the Juiced JetCurrent Pro. This new e-bike promises more speed and power than ever before, representing a new form factor for the brand.
According to Tora Harris, founder and CEO of Juiced Bikes, the JetCurrent Pro has been in development for over 15 years. The company, one of the first US e-bike companies, has been a key player in the industry since its early days.
“The folding e-bike category is dominated by toy-like products, so we saw an opportunity to redefine what was possible,” said Tora. “This product represents everything we have learned over the past 15 years, this new endeavor is a testament to our dedication and unwavering pursuit of advancement.”
The JetCurrent Pro features a powerful 1,200W continuous-rated and 2,000W peak-rated electric motor, along with a combined 1,000 Hz torque sensor and 100 pole cadence sensor. This enables the bike to reach speeds of up to 30 mph on throttle-only and 34 mph on pedal assist when fully unlocked into Track Mode via the LCD display (designated for off-road use only).
To support this high performance, the bike comes with one of the largest batteries in the industryāa 52V and 19.2 Wh UL-compliant battery pack, offering 1,000 watt-hours of capacity. This provides over 70 miles of range at lower speeds and power levels, while still delivering effective performance at higher power levels.
The JetCurrent Pro is designed to be robust, with a payload rating of 300 lb and rugged components. The bike features a custom-developed front suspension fork with locking dropouts that are 3x thicker than typical e-bike forks, along with a solid M14 front axle for stability under hard braking. The bike also comes equipped with 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes clamping down on 203 mm rotorsāthe largest in the industry for bikes of this type.
Additional features include a motion-activated alarm, folding mirror, turn signals, and a 1,000+ lumen headlight with a built-in 100dB horn. The bike also includes standard equipment such as front and rear fenders, a rack system with built-in quick release, and USB device charging.
The JetCurrent Pro is available for pre-order at $2,799 and is set to start deliveries to customers in early June.
