Lidl has introduced its first electric mountain bike, the Crivit Peak 709, in France and the Czech Republic, marking an expansion of its e-bike lineup beyond urban models.
The new eMTB features an SR Suntour XCM34 Boost suspension fork with 130 mm travel, a Mivice X700 mid-drive motor delivering 100Nm of torque, and a removable 709Wh battery, offering a range of up to 120 km (75 miles).

The Crivit Peak 709 includes a Shimano Cues 10-speed derailleur, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, and Maxxis Rekon tiresā27.5-inch for the smallest size and 29-inch for larger models.
Riders can switch between Eco, Tour, and Race assistance modes, with a Boost button for temporary power increases. A handlebar-mounted LED display provides real-time battery and assistance mode information, and the bike is equipped with a Fidlock water bottle base.

Available in medium, large, and extra-large sizes, the bike weighs between 25.8 kg and 26.4 kg. Lidl is currently selling the Crivit Peak 709 for ā¬1,699 (CZK 44,999). The company has yet to confirm if or when the model will be released in additional European markets.
