Jeep will open UK orders for its new Compass First Edition in the third quarter of 2025, offering customers a choice between hybrid and fully electric drivetrains as part of the brand’s broader electrification strategy.

The Compass First Edition will debut in two configurations: a 145-horsepower e-Hybrid powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 21kWh electric motor, and a 213-horsepower all-electric variant with 345 Nm of torque, drawing energy from a 74kWh battery. The battery-electric model supports 160kW DC fast charging, enabling a 20–80% charge in about 30 minutes. A 22kW AC onboard charger will also be available as an option.

Jeep has confirmed UK pricing, with the e-Hybrid model starting at £35,700 on the road and the all-electric variant priced from £39,200. Additional variants will follow, including a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) offering up to 51 miles of electric-only range and two additional fully electric models: a 230-hp two-wheel drive version capable of up to 402 miles of range, and a four-wheel drive version targeting 372 miles (all WLTP figures pending confirmation).

Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the new Compass measures 4.55 metres in length—slightly longer than the Peugeot e-3008 and more compact than competitors such as the Opel Grandland Electric and Peugeot e-5008. The Compass is described by Jeep as one of the most compact models on this platform.

“The new Compass is set to redefine expectations in the most competitive passenger car segment, which accounts for almost a quarter of the total European market, with a full range of powertrains to give customers freedom of choice and to meet every need,” the company said in a statement.

Available in six exterior colours including standard Hawaii green, the Compass First Edition features a body-coloured roof as standard, with an optional black contrast finish. Wheel sizes vary by variant, with 18-inch gloss grey alloys on the hybrid model and 20-inch black machined alloys on the battery-electric version.

Interior features include a 550-litre rear boot and a 34-litre front trunk, a 16-inch infotainment touchscreen, 10-inch digital instrument cluster, heated seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and Level 2 driving assistance systems. The BEV version comes standard with a heat pump and pre-conditioning functions.
