Hyundai recently introduced the Ioniq 6 as a continuation of their agenda in launching EVs. However, behind its elegant and charming design, there is a story that is quite interesting.

Hyundai CEO Jaehoon “Jay” Chang said that the design process of the Ioniq 6 was very inspired by the beauty of the Porsche 911. “To build a car like the Porsche 911 not only takes decades but also a strong commitment. This is where we learn, to deliver a car that is truly one-of-a-kind. really good quality. I’m not sure anyone can imitate something like 911. The shape is almost perfect, “said Chang.

Chang feels that Hyundai Motor and Porsche have the same ambition to build great cars. Chang also said that he wanted to make a car that was great and could reach a wider market.

Chang is clear that Hyundai will not make a rival to the 911, Hyundai will present something even greater.

“I’m not saying we’ll ever build a car to rival the Porsche 911, but if you take a look at the two Rolling Lab concepts we unveiled this week, the RN22e and N Vision 74, you’ll get an idea where we also have a high-performance car that’s just as great. ,” added Chang.

Currently, Hyundai is focusing on delivering extraordinary electric cars. If Hyundai can carry out the same commitment as Porsche, it is possible that in the future Hyundai can be even greater than the German manufacturer.
