SAIC and Huawei signed an agreement on February 21 to jointly develop intelligent vehicle products with global competitiveness. Under the HIMA business model, Huawei has already collaborated with automakers to establish four brands: Aito with Seres Group, Luxeed with Chery, Stelato with BAIC Group, and Maextro with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC). The alliance currently offers six models, including the Aito M5, Aito M7, Aito M9, Luxeed S7, Luxeed R7, and Stelato S9.
According to Yicai, Shangjie’s first model is expected to be priced at around RMB 150,000 ($20,660), making it the most affordable vehicle under the HIMA umbrella. All Shangjie models will be sold through HIMA’s existing sales channels.

Huawei is expected to leverage its expertise in product development and marketing to refine the new model, which is anticipated to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025.
