Huawei-backed Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) delivered 45,046 vehicles in July, down 4.92% from a year earlier and 11.02% from June, marking its second consecutive month of year-on-year delivery declines.
The alliance delivered 50,624 vehicles in June.
Deliveries Decline After Strong 2025
July was the first time since May 2025 that HIMA recorded year-on-year delivery declines for two consecutive months.
From January through July, HIMA delivered 286,000 vehicles, representing a 13.7% increase from the same period last year.
Cumulative deliveries across all HIMA brands have surpassed 1.48 million vehicles.
The alliance noted that it continues to rank among China’s fastest-growing new automotive brands by cumulative deliveries.
Growth comparisons have become more challenging after HIMA posted strong delivery momentum during the second half of 2025, when monthly deliveries climbed from 68,216 vehicles in October to 81,864 in November before reaching 89,611 in December.
New Models Continue to Gain Traction
HIMA said the new-generation Aito M9 surpassed 20,000 cumulative deliveries within seven weeks of customer deliveries beginning.
Total deliveries of the Aito M9 lineup have now exceeded 300,000 vehicles, making it one of China’s best-selling models priced above 500,000 yuan (US$73,640).
The Aito M6 also surpassed 40,000 cumulative deliveries 97 days after its launch.
Meanwhile, the Luxeed V9 multi-purpose vehicle, jointly developed by Huawei and Chery, recorded monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 units after its launch in May.
The Shangjie Z7 series, developed with SAIC, has exceeded 20,000 cumulative deliveries since customer deliveries began in late May.
Product Expansion Continues
HIMA is expanding its product lineup through partnerships with several Chinese automakers across multiple market segments.
The alliance currently includes Aito with Seres, Luxeed with Chery, Shangjie with SAIC, Stelato with BAIC Group, and Maextro with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group.
The flagship Maextro V800 and V680 multi-purpose vehicles are scheduled to launch on Aug. 5.
On the same day, HIMA will begin accepting reservations for the Stelato G9, the brand’s first technology-focused luxury off-road sport utility vehicle.
Earlier this year, Maextro introduced the S800 Grand Design with a starting price of 1.388 million yuan, targeting the ultra-luxury segment.
Huawei is also continuing to broaden its automotive partnerships.
Aistaland, developed with GAC Group, launched its first model, the GT7, in June.
Separately, Huawei and Dongfeng have established the Epicland brand, with its first model, the X9, expected to begin customer deliveries in September.
