How Long Can Electric Vehicle Batteries Last?

How long can an electric car battery last? Questions about battery life are often raised by new buyers who are switching from cars with internal combustion engines.

Electric vehicle batteries do have a lifetime limit. The lithium-ion material used does have a lifespan.

Based on internal tests that describe normal use. Electric vehicle batteries can be used for more than 10 years.

It’s just that when entering 10 years, the ‘health’ of the battery has decreased.

Based on calculations, battery health after more than 10 years is still around 70 percent.

This decrease can be said to be very normal and reasonable, it can still be used. Battery health that has decreased is also not in the entire battery line.

Where if the electric car battery wants to be replaced, it is enough to look for which module has experienced the most drastic decline.

Of the 10 series of battery packs, 2 of them have battery health below 60 percent, that’s enough to be replaced.
