Honda unveiled two new electric prototypes — the Honda 0 α SUV and the Super-ONE Prototype — at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, underscoring its commitment to expand its electric vehicle lineup with next-generation design and technology.
The Honda 0 α SUV joins the company’s 0 Series lineup, following the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV introduced earlier this year at CES 2025. The production version is expected to go on sale from 2027, beginning in Japan and India.

While Honda has yet to disclose technical specifications such as battery capacity or powertrain details, it previously stated that other 0 Series models will offer an estimated range of around 300 miles (482 km) under EPA testing.
Honda describes the 0 α as a “gateway model for the world of Honda 0 Series,” designed to integrate seamlessly into both urban and natural environments. Reflecting the company’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” design philosophy, the model features a slim profile and low height while maintaining ground clearance. The front integrates headlights, a charging port, and an illuminated Honda emblem into a single panel, while the rear sports a U-shaped light signature that combines tail, brake, and turn indicators.

Also making its debut, the Super-ONE Prototype is a compact electric vehicle developed under the concept “e: Dash BOOSTER.” Based on a lightweight platform derived from the Honda N Series, the model adopts a wider stance with flared fenders and introduces a “Boost Mode” that temporarily enhances power output. The system synchronises with Honda’s Active Sound Control and a simulated seven-speed transmission, creating engine-like sounds and gearshift sensations to heighten driver engagement.
“The name ‘Super-ONE’ represents the aspiration of Honda to create a vehicle that transcends conventional norms and delivers customer value unique only to Honda,” the company said. In Boost Mode, the model delivers an “uplifting EV driving experience” by stimulating the driver’s visual, auditory, and tactile senses.

Honda confirmed that the Super-ONE Prototype has undergone testing in Japan, the UK, and several Asian markets, following the earlier Super EV Concept showcased at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The production model is set to launch in Japan in 2026, followed by the UK and Asia, with regional names such as Super-ONE, Honda Super-ONE, and Super-N.
Inside, the Super-ONE Prototype features a driver-focused cockpit, including dedicated sports seats, a horizontal instrument panel, triple-gauge display, and configurable ambient lighting.
