Honda has introduced the Super-One EV, a new entry-level electric car for its global lineup, unveiling the model at the Singapore Motor Show and launching it simultaneously in the city-state as its first market worldwide.

The Super-One EV is the production version of the Super-One Prototype shown at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show and is closely linked to the N-One e: kei car sold in Japan. With compact dimensions of 3,589 mm in length, 1,573 mm in width and 1,616 mm in height, the model is positioned in the ultra-small electric vehicle segment, comparable in size to rivals such as the Dacia Spring and Leapmotor T03.

The car is powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 70 kilowatts and 162 Newton metres of torque and offers multiple driving modes, including Normal, City, Sport, ECON and a Boost mode. Honda has not disclosed the battery type or capacity, nor its official driving range, but said fast charging from 20% to 80% state of charge takes around 30 minutes.

Industry observers expect the Super-One EV to share the 29.6 kWh battery pack used in the N-One e:, which supports up to 6 kW AC and 50 kW DC charging. Unlike the near-production prototype, which featured separate AC and DC ports, the production version uses a single CCS2 charging connector.

Inside, the Super-One EV is offered in a fully equipped trim, featuring a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, an eight-speaker Bose sound system and adjustable regenerative braking. Safety features include adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane-keeping assistance, collision mitigation braking and six airbags.

Honda has priced the model at SGD 187,999 in Singapore and said it plans to introduce the Super-One EV in Japan before the end of 2026, followed by launches in the UK and other international markets.
