Genesis, Hyundai’s luxury brand, has revealed the first images of its facelifted GV60, the electric SUV built on the Group’s E-GMP platform. The updates mark the model’s first major redesign since its launch in October 2021.
Genesis announced plans to disclose detailed specifications and pricing for the refreshed GV60 in the first quarter, ahead of its sales debut in South Korea.
While technical details remain under wraps, it is anticipated that the GV60 facelift will feature the 84.0 kWh battery recently introduced in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. The current model is available with a 77.4 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 517 kilometers under WLTP standards.
Visually, the GV60 retains its recognizable design while incorporating subtle enhancements. The front bumper has been redesigned for a more dynamic and bold appearance, complemented by headlights with Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology.
Newly styled 21-inch rims are now available, previously offered exclusively with the high-end āSport Plusā package. Additionally, wheel arch cladding and the rear underride guard are now color-matched to the body.
Inside, changes are minimal but impactful. The cockpit’s dual-screen setup has been visually unified into a “27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system,” and the redesigned three-spoke steering wheel adds a fresh touch.
Genesis positions the GV60 as a premium offering, with the pre-facelift model starting at ā¬54,680 in Germany. Pricing for the facelifted version will be revealed closer to launch.
āThe GV60 facelift builds on the modelās legacy, combining elegance with cutting-edge innovation,ā Genesis said in a statement.
