General Motors’ Cadillac has introduced the 2026 Escalade IQL, a lengthened version of its all-electric Escalade IQ luxury SUV, with additional space dedicated to third-row passengers and cargo rather than an extended wheelbase.
Unlike conventional long-wheelbase variants, which typically increase legroom for second-row occupants, the Escalade IQL retains the same 136.2-inch wheelbase as the Escalade IQ. Instead, Cadillac has added 4.2 inches at the rear, increasing third-row legroom to 36.7 inches, up from 32.3 inches, and headroom to 38.2 inches from 37.2 inches.

Cargo space behind the third row expands slightly to 24.2 cubic feet, compared to 23.6 cubic feet in the standard model. With the third row folded, total cargo capacity grows to 75.4 cubic feet from 69.1 cubic feet. The front trunk, or “eTrunk,” remains at 12.2 cubic feet.
The Escalade IQL measures 228.5 inches in length, while its width and height remain at 94.1 inches and 76.1 inches, respectively. The powertrain is unchanged from the Escalade IQ, featuring a dual-motor setup producing up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Velocity Mode.

In Normal Mode, the system delivers 680 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque. The SUV retains air springs and MagneRide adaptive dampers, achieving a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.7 seconds and a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds.
Powered by a 24-module, 205-kWh battery pack, the Escalade IQL offers an estimated range of 460 miles per charge. Cadillac did not specify the maximum DC fast-charging rate but claims the vehicle can gain up to 116 miles of range in 10 minutes.

The Escalade IQ, in comparison, supports up to 350 kW charging and adds 100 miles in the same timeframe. When connected to a 19.2 kW AC charger, the SUV can recover approximately 36 miles per hour, while a 7.7 kW charger provides about 15 miles per hour.
The Escalade IQL comes standard with a 55-inch curved pillar-to-pillar display, a 21-speaker AKG audio system, Super Cruise driver assistance, and vehicle-to-home (V2H) capabilities—though the GM Energy V2H Bundle is required for home power integration.

Seating accommodates up to seven across three rows, with a power-operated third row. An optional Executive Second Row package adds captain’s chairs with heating, ventilation, massage functions, stowable tray tables, dual 12.6-inch displays, and a rear command center with wireless phone charging.
Production is set to begin in mid-2025 at GM’s Factory Zero plant in Detroit. The Escalade IQL will be available globally in four trims: Luxury Sport, Premium Luxury, and Premium Sport. In the U.S., pricing starts at $132,695, including destination fees, making it $2,705 more expensive than the standard Escalade IQ.
