Geely Automobile, a China-based automaker, has launched the Panda Mini EV electric car. Originally, the Panda Mini EV was expected to come under the Geometry branding, but it was unveiled under the name of its parent company.
In terms of appearance, the Panda Mini EV comes with black and white accents. This electric car has a black roof design and round headlights.
Quoted from Gizmochina, this electric car consists of two doors and has four seats and the roof is equipped with panoramic glass.
The Panda Mini EV is 3,065mm long, making it look sleek and easy to park in tight spaces.
There is a trim at the bottom of the front bumper that looks like panda ears. While the headlights and taillights have a resemblance to panda eyes.
In terms of power generated, Panda Mini EV is equipped with a 30kW electric motor and LFP battery manufactured by Guoxuan Hi-Tech.
The manufacturer claims that the Panda Mini EV electric car can travel up to 150 km on a single full charge.
Later, this electric car will become a competitor of several compact EV models that have been successfully marketed in China, such as the Kiwi EV, Baojun and Wuling Mini EV.
Nonetheless, the Panda Mini EV is expected to win the hearts of its consumers in China because it has a cute design.
The car manufacturer has not provided details regarding the selling price of the Panda Mini EV. However, based on rumors circulating, the electric car will start at US$5,700.
Meanwhile, Geely plans to sell the Panda Mini EV starting early next year targeting China’s younger generation.
