British furniture company Furniture Village has just ordered 25 Peugeot e-2008s as part of its fully electric fleet adoption.

The Peugeot e-2008 will be used to travel between Furniture Village locations in the UK and visit customers’ homes. The Peugeot e-2008 uses a 50kWh battery connected to a 136hp electric motor and has a range of 214 miles (344 km).

The Peugeot E-2008 achieved a 2% Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) rate in the UK, making it ideal for fleet and business use.

Furniture Village currently has charging points in all shops and fulfillment centers across the UK. Peugeot e-2008 itself has 100kW fast charging capability. With this capability, charging 0-80% only takes half an hour.

Julie David, Managing Director, Peugeot UK, said: “We’re thrilled that Furniture Village has chosen the e-2008 as the car with which to move to a fully electric fleet.”

With a range of 214 miles, the e-2008 for Furniture Village is the latest model year. Previously Peugeot had announced an increased range of 22 kilometers via a software update.
