In the United States, Ford’s Mustang Mach-E presents a compelling offer with VIN-specific discounts of up to $18,500. However, finding a Mach-E eligible for such a substantial discount could be challenging, according to a report by Cars Direct.
Until April 2, Ford is offering a ‘VIN Specific Bonus Cash’ incentive ranging from $3,100 to $18,500 for select Mustang Mach-E models. This offer applies specifically to vehicles that have been part of the Ford Courtesy Transportation Program (FCTP) or used as demo models.
It’s worth noting that models that recently received retroactive price cuts are not eligible for this offer. In February, Ford announced that 2023 Mustang Mach-E models built before May 2023 would be priced the same as newer models, despite including additional features like a 3-year BlueCruise semi-autonomous driving subscription and a mobile power cord.
Ford’s bulletin to dealers indicates that “the incentive amount varies by trim and order date,” suggesting that finding a vehicle with the full $18,500 discount may be challenging. Generally, higher-priced models are more likely to receive larger discounts, as they have historically benefited from steeper price cuts over the past 12 months.

Last month, Ford implemented significant price cuts across the 2023MY lineup of Mustang Mach-E models. Select RWD and AWD models saw a $3,100 reduction in price to $41,695 and $44,695, respectively.
Premium RWD (Std Range) and AWD (Std Range) models had a $4,100 price cut to $44,695 and $47,695. More substantial price reductions of $8,100 were applied to Premium RWD (Ext Range), AWD (Ext Range), and California Route 1 AWD models, while prices of the GT and GT Performance were reduced by $7,600.
