Ford Motor is expanding its MS-RT range in Europe with two new electrified models, introducing a plug-in hybrid version of the Ranger pickup and a fully electric Tourneo Custom van. Both vehicles retain the performance styling and utility features of the MS-RT brand while adding new powertrain options.
The Ranger MS-RT plug-in hybrid produces a combined 277 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque from a 2.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a single electric motor.

The setup delivers 40 hp and 97 Nm more than its diesel counterpart, with power routed through a 10-speed automatic transmission and permanent e4WD system. The model offers up to 40 km (25 miles) of electric driving range via its 11.8 kWh battery while maintaining a towing capacity of 3,500 kg and payload of one tonne.
The Tourneo Custom MS-RT is available in fully electric, plug-in hybrid, and diesel versions, with the EV variant generating 282 hp from a single motor. The van retains its eight-seat configuration while adopting sportier design elements including new bumpers, side skirts, and a roof spoiler.

Inside, both vehicles feature Eco leather and suede upholstery with blue stitching, while technology offerings include a 12-inch infotainment system and advanced driver assistance functions.
Ford said the new MS-RT models will be available to order in Europe and the UK later this year, with first deliveries expected in 2026. Final assembly will take place at the Ford Dagenham Estate facility in the UK. Both models are set to make their public debut at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich from September 8 to 14.
