Ferrari launched its newest model this year, which is an open-top variant of their youngest model. Referred to as the new rear-engine Berlinetta, comes the Ferrari 296 GTS, which returns the GTS nomenclature to the mid-engine model. This variant was born following the 296 GTB which was present as a V6 turbo engine supercar with plug-in hybrid technology.

The 296 GTS engine relies on the latest unit from the Ferrari family, namely a 2.9-liter turbo V6 that has 654 hp of power, and an electric motor with a power of 165 hp. As a result, the total power that can be released reaches 819 hp, which is only channeled to the rear wheels. This PHEV supercar that can compete with the performance of the McLaren 720S can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 2.9 seconds.
