Produced by Stellantis, the Peugeot 408 Hybrid was shown in full yesterday at the opening ceremony in Paris, France. The Peugeot 408 will be the new model in the line-up of the car brand bearing the lion logo. As is known from the previous teaser, the Peugeot 408 looks like a fastback on the back of the body.

In terms of performance, the Peugeot 408 is available in a PureTech 130 three-cylinder turbo engine with a capacity of 1,199 cc similar to 2008. This engine is capable of producing 130 hp/5,500 rpm peak power and 230 Nm/1,750 rpm torque which is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

In addition there are plug-in hybrid drives Hybrid 180 and Hybrid 225 four-cylinder turbo engine 1,598 cc producing 150 hp and 180 hp, respectively. These two engines combine with an electric motor of 81 kW or 110 hp to produce a combined power of 180 hp and 225 hp.
