The Peugeot e-2008 is a Small SUV electric car from Peugeot that has been sold in several European countries such as France and the United Kingdom since 2020.
How about the specifications? Starting from an electric motor, Peugeot provides the e-2008 with an electric motor that drives the front wheels.
The Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor is capable of spitting out 100 kW or 136 hp and 260 Nm of peak torque.
In terms of power, the Peugeot e-2008 electric motor is similar to the Kona Electric, but unfortunately it loses 135 Nm of torque.
Instead, the Peugeot e-2008 gets a Lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 50 kWh, larger than the Kona Electric battery.
At its launch, Peugeot claimed the e-2008 could cover a distance of 310 km according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) standard.
However, in the latest version of the e-2008 with optimized tires and the use of a heat pump, the claimed mileage increases to 345 km.
The e-2008 battery is compatible with the 7.4 kW Wall Box and 100 kW public fast charge.
Peugeot claims the e-2008 battery can be charged 0-80% in just 30 minutes with 100 kW fast charging.
Meanwhile, with the Wall Box, the Peugeot e-2008 battery is claimed to be full in just 7.5 hours.
