Everything You should know about Mazda CX-60 PHEV

The era of electrification was initiated by Mazda in Europe by introducing the all-new Mazda CX-60 PHEV. It is a technology from Mazda in the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) class while maintaining the Japanese cultural heritage.

The all-new Mazda CX-60 PHEV is claimed to be the flagship of the Hiroshima brand, starting at £43,950. Oh yes, three trims are offered, namely Exclusive-Line, Homura and Takumi.

Talking about the details of the CX-60 Exclusive-Line as the cheapest, there are three package offers that consumers can choose from, so it doesn’t look standard on the road. The Comfort Pack is only offered on the Exclusive-Line for £1,400. It is given 20-inch rims, electric and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and there is a Mazda Driver Personalization System. The color choices are also attractive, Rhodium White premium metallic.

As for the CX-60 Homura, which costs £46,700, there is additional molding on the fenders and a dark grille, including black mirrors and a honeycomb grille design. 20-inch rims provide traction. The Homura cabin has soft touches in various places, heated seats to rear passengers, and dim lights give a romantic feel.

This Homura added the Mazda Driver Personalization System feature, using a camera that scans the driver’s face. The seat composition will automatically adjust to the individual settings, the angle of the steering wheel, the mirrors, the head-up display, including the sound to the cabin coolness setting. If you are still not satisfied, there are additional packages that can be redeemed, namely the Convenience Pack and Driver Assistance Pack.

The top trim option is the Mazda CX-60 Takumi, priced at £48,050. 20-inch alloy wheels are given a black color, body-colored mirrors, chrome grille bars and also on the window edges. The radiator guard center grille is black.

Convenience Pack and Driver Assistance Pack added features. You can redeem £1,000 for the Convenience Pack in the form of a privacy glass, 360-degree monitor and wireless phone charging. As for the Driver Assistance Pack, many active safety technologies cost £1,100.

Carrying Japanese cultural heritage, translated in the cabin of the Mazda CX-60 Takumi in the form of maple wood with the aesthetic of Hacho art – asymmetrical balance or intentional unevenness. The fabric material has a different pattern and the thread can change color when exposed to light. The sewing model called ‘Kakenui’ presents a hanging appearance and there is a gap in the joint material.

The speed of the car can also be selected, through Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive). Modes: Narmal, Sport, Off-Road, Towing, and EV. This last option allows the CX-60 PHEV to run quietly without exhaust emissions.

For consumers who want a more different machine, should be patient. This is because the 3,000 cc e-Skyactiv X six-cylinder petrol engine and the 3,300 cc Skyactiv-D diesel engine will follow.
