The Maextro S800, a flagship luxury sedan developed under the joint venture between Huawei and JAC, is a full-size premium electric model designed with advanced technology and refined engineering.
Built on a new modular “Xuanwu architecture,” the S800 incorporates 10 horizontal and nine longitudinal structural members, delivering torsional stiffness of 53,300 N·m/deg.

This engineering approach, combined with 13 airbags and a four-lock safety system, underscores the sedan’s safety-first focus.
Dimensionally, the Maextro S800 measures 5,480 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,536 mm in height, riding on a 3,370 mm wheelbase. The car achieves a drag coefficient of 0.206 Cd, enhancing aerodynamic performance.
Smart power-operated doors utilize millimetre-wave radar and lidar to detect obstacles and adjust the door opening angle up to 77°, while a projected welcome light pattern greets occupants on entry. Buyers can choose from six exterior colours—including dual-tone options like Dawn Gold/Black—and three alloy wheel designs named “Sunshine,” “Moonlight,” and “Starlight.”

The interior offers both five- and four-seat configurations, featuring three dashboard displays, a head-up display, rear-seat recliners, tray tables, and a refrigerator. Rear passengers benefit from a detachable touchscreen armrest to control HVAC, audio, and lighting, while a panoramic starlight dome overhead enhances the luxury ambience.
The cabin is equipped with 43 speakers delivering 2,920 W peak output, and Huawei claims noise levels as low as 56.7 dB at 60 km/h, thanks to active noise cancellation, acoustic glass, and 40 kg of insulation material.

The S800 is available in both EV and EREV variants. The EV version features an 800V high-voltage platform, a 97 kWh battery, 5C fast charging (10–80% in 12 minutes), a CLTC range of 702 km, and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds. The EREV variant uses a 1.5-litre generator and 65 kWh battery, with dual- or tri-motor options.
The dual-motor offers 400 km electric range and 1,333 km total range; the tri-motor delivers 365 km electric range and 1,200 km combined, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. Weighing 2.6 tons, the vehicle features a dual-chamber air suspension, double wishbone front suspension, five-link rear suspension, and multi-mode all-wheel steering. Braking from 100 km/h to 0 is achieved in 34.5 meters.

Advanced driving features include Huawei’s ADS 4.0 system with 36 integrated sensors (lidar, radar, cameras, and ultrasonics) capable of navigating tight urban environments and blind turns.
HarmonyOS powers the infotainment and user interface across the cabin, integrating seat management and personalized profiles. Production of the Maextro S800 takes place in a dedicated facility, targeting an annual capacity of 100,000 vehicles and backed by a 100 billion yuan investment.
