Everged, a provider of sustainable energy solutions, has partnered with i-charging to expand electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the United States, with plans to deploy nearly 1,000 advanced DC fast charging (DCFC) systems. The collaboration leverages i-charging’s technology to deliver faster, more secure, and highly reliable charging solutions to support the growing EV market.
i-charging’s DC fast chargers provide power outputs ranging from 50 to 400 kilowatts per plug, significantly reducing charging times for electric vehicles. The systems feature dual communication channels, continuous remote monitoring, and predictive maintenance capabilities. They also comply with international standards including ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 27001 for cybersecurity, and CTEP metering certification for accuracy.
Jefferson W. Smith, CEO of Everged, said the partnership was motivated by i-charging’s “advanced features and cybersecurity standards,” enabling Everged to offer a reliable charging experience across commercial properties, municipalities, and enterprise clients. Pedro Silva, CEO of i-charging, noted that the collaboration “sets new benchmarks for EV infrastructure quality, accelerating the transition to electric mobility.”
The rollout will also support Everged’s involvement in the City of San Diego Public EV Charging Program, where the company will provide turnkey charging infrastructure for 10 years. By integrating i-charging’s systems, Everged aims to address nationwide demand for efficient, dependable EV networks and contribute to broader adoption of electric mobility.
