German automotive manufacturer, Electric Brands launched the latest prototype of their tiny electric pickup truck called the XBus which will hit the market in 2022.
Designed with a modular body with dimensions of 3,640 mm in length, 1,600 mm in width and 1,940 mm in height, this light commercial vehicle is classified as an L7e-B2 class four-wheel bicycle.
Quoting carscoops, Thursday (10/2/2022), the best feature of the XBus is the 10 modular and interchangeable bodies that turn it into a passenger van, panel van, box van, pickup, pickup wagon, convertible, to camper van.

This electric truck features an expandable roof and rear panels to accommodate a double bed in its log cabin.
The smart design makes it easy to fit different types of body panels on the back while maintaining a cute flat surface characterized by a long front overhang and a set of round LED headlights with a high position.

Inside, the dashboard also looks very minimalistic with the presence of a touchscreen infotainment, two USB speaker slots, and not much else, with most of the buttons, including for the transmission, located on the steering wheel.
All versions of the XBus are available in off-road specifications with all-terrain tires and higher ground clearance for use with all-wheel drive.

The standard XBus comes with a 10 kWh battery capacity which will allow the vehicle to have a range of up to 200 km (124 miles) as well as a 30 kWh battery (optional) which will increase the electric range to 600 km (373 miles).
The permanent four-wheel drive electric motor consists of four hub motors producing a combined power of 20 hp with continuous power going up to 75 hp.
Even though it weighs under 600 kg, the adorable design XBus can carry up to 1,000 kg (2204 lbs) of cargo which matches the capabilities of the European 1 tonne pickup segment.
