Electric-vehicle startup E-Legend have revealed their first creation called the LF1, a coupe clearly inspired by the Audi Sport Quattro. That Quattro was a 1980’s Group B homologation special that was well known for it’s muscular haunches and black headlight housing. The LF1 takes those features and runs with them, even copying the same trio of intakes present on the leading edge of the hood.
The EL1 is of course electric, utilising three electric motors and a large 90 kWh battery to deliver up to 794 hp and all-wheel drive. Capable of a 0-60 mph sprint in 2.8 seconds and a 0-124 mph run in under 10 seconds, the EL1 certainly promises to be a good performer. E-Legend are quoting a range of 250 miles for regular driving, with fast charging up to 150 kilowatts helping to get going quickly again.
The first prototype is expected to arrive in 2022, with the production ready models to go on sale sometime after. Only 30 units will be built in total, with all put together by hand at their factory in Beilngries. Funds secured from these sales are planned to finance the development of both the LF2 and LF3 models E-Legend have planned.
