Chinese tech company Dreame, known for robot vacuums and smart home devices, has released the first renders of its upcoming electric hypercar, promising what it calls “the world’s fastest” EV. The company aims to position the vehicle in direct competition with high-performance marques such as Bugatti.
The debut images, shared by Dreame founder Yu Hao on September 10, reveal a design inspired by the Bugatti Chiron, with an aggressive front profile and aerodynamic silhouette, according to Chinese auto media outlet Dongchedi. Dreame describes the vehicle as an “ultra-luxury, pure-electric” model and benchmarks it against the Bugatti Veyron, which once held the title of the world’s fastest production car.
Interior details show a minimalist yet futuristic cabin, featuring a two-spoke steering wheel and a large digital display, reflecting the trends of China’s premium EV segment where digital experience is emphasized alongside performance.
Dreame announced in late August that the hypercar is slated for a 2027 production launch. The company is reportedly finalizing a manufacturing site in Berlin, Germany, near Tesla’s Gigafactory, signaling ambitions to compete globally. Chinese media outlet Jiemian reported that Dreame is in talks with BNP Paribas to secure strategic financing for its international expansion.
While technical specifications such as range, powertrain, and price have not been disclosed, Dreame’s entry into the high-performance EV market highlights the growing ambitions of Chinese tech companies to challenge established automotive brands.
