Dongfeng Motor’s new energy brand Voyah has launched the updated Zhiyin SUV, its latest all-electric model equipped with Huawei’s smart driving and cockpit technologies.

Unveiled at an event on Thursday, the updated Zhiyin—marketed overseas as the Courage—starts at RMB 202,900 ($28,450), down from the RMB 220,000 pre-sale price set earlier this month. Voyah is offering three variants: two rear-wheel-drive versions priced at RMB 202,900 and RMB 222,900, and one all-wheel-drive version priced at RMB 242,900.

The model features larger dimensions than its predecessor, measuring 4,810 mm in length and 2,925 mm in wheelbase. Its key highlights include Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4 driver assistance system and HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, supported by a 192-channel LiDAR. Capabilities include city pilot assist and automated parking.

The Zhiyin is powered by CATL batteries, with single-motor variants available in 81 kWh and 112 kWh options offering ranges of 650 km and 901 km under the CLTC cycle. The all-wheel-drive version, fitted with an 81 kWh pack, delivers 600 km of range.

Performance figures include 0–100 km/h in 6.8 seconds for the single-motor variant and 4.3 seconds for the dual-motor version. The SUV supports 5C fast charging with a peak output of 440 kW, enabling 100 km of range in three minutes.

Voyah said the model secured more than 3,000 firm orders within 12 minutes of launch. The brand, established in 2020, introduced the Zhiyin in October 2024 as its fourth model and its first vehicle built on a next-generation pure-electric platform. Parent company Dongfeng has announced plans to privatize and delist from the Hong Kong stock exchange, while Voyah is expected to pursue an introductory listing there.
