Cubonic was established on November 22, 2022, following the transfer of operations from Moove GmbH, which had filed for insolvency. Previously known as e.GO Moove GmbH, the company was originally founded in 2018 as a joint venture between ZF and e.GO Mobile, focusing on electric shuttles. In 2020, Miltenyi Biotec acquired ZF’s shares, leading to the company’s separation from e.GO and subsequent rebranding as Moove GmbH. Now, as Cubonic, the company is set to make significant strides in the electric vehicle market with the support of Punch Powertrain.
