Chery Group delivered 272,536 vehicles worldwide in November, driven by strong growth in new energy vehicles (NEVs) and exports. NEV sales rose 50.1% year-on-year to 116,794 units, while exports climbed 30.3% to 136,728 vehicles, reinforcing the company’s position as China’s leading vehicle exporter.
From January to November, Chery sold 2.56 million vehicles, up 11.1% from a year earlier. NEV sales surged 69.4% to 814,685 units, the first time the group has exceeded 800,000 NEV deliveries in a single year. The core Chery brand led November sales with 165,511 units, followed by Jetour with 55,088 units and premium brand Exeed with 12,021 units. “The group aims to exceed the sector’s growth rate by 10 to 20 percentage points in 2025,” the company said.

The November performance comes as Chery accelerates its product rollout. Last month, Exeed officially launched the ET5 extended-range electric SUV in China with an effective starting price of 134,900 yuan ($19,070) after subsidies. Exeed also disclosed updated specifications for the 2026 Exlantix ES electric sedan, featuring a 97.68 kWh battery with a range of up to 860 km, according to regulatory filings.
Chery’s gains were posted against mixed results from rivals. Geely reported record November battery-electric vehicle sales of 102,602 units, while BYD sold 480,186 NEVs, its highest monthly total this year but still below year-ago levels. GWM reported NEV sales of 40,113 units, down month-on-month.
