ChargePoint has introduced two new service offerings—Premier Care and a self-service Support Portal—designed to streamline charger management and improve operational efficiency for charging providers.
The company said the two solutions target different segments of the market, with Premier Care aimed at large-scale or complex charging networks, while the Support Portal provides a digital interface for customers seeking greater autonomy in managing their infrastructure.
Premier Care is positioned as a concierge-style, “white glove” service, offering operators access to a dedicated expert responsible for overseeing charging network performance. Services include revenue reporting, proactive monitoring, network optimisation, case management and support with charger configuration.
In parallel, the new Support Portal provides a self-service platform that allows station owners to manage their charging assets more directly. Users can create and track support cases, monitor parts and service progress, and access analytics tools for evaluating issues. The platform also includes a knowledge base with technical documentation and troubleshooting guidance.
ChargePoint said the Support Portal will be included with all ChargePoint Cloud Plan subscriptions and is intended to reduce reliance on traditional support channels by enabling faster, more efficient issue resolution.
The new offerings build on the company’s existing service portfolio, which includes ChargePoint Assure and ChargePoint Safeguard Care, as the company seeks to address the operational complexity of expanding EV charging networks.
“Premier Care and Support Portal bookend ChargePoint’s service offerings for charger management,” said JD Singh, Chief Customer Experience Officer at ChargePoint. “Premier Care allows businesses to streamline operations with our industry-leading team, whereas the Support Portal makes operations easy and intuitive for those who prefer to fully manage their own charger base.”
The launch reflects growing demand for more sophisticated service and maintenance solutions as charging networks scale globally and operators seek to minimise downtime while improving user experience.
