Chinese mobility operator CaoCao Inc. has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with robotics manufacturer DOBOT to integrate intelligent robots into its Robotaxi operations, as both companies prepare for larger-scale deployment of autonomous mobility services.
Under the agreement signed on Dec. 1, the partners will focus on automating operational tasks such as vehicle cleaning, maintenance and charging. The collaboration is intended to raise the level of automation in daily fleet operations and strengthen the service infrastructure required for expanded Robotaxi rollouts in the coming years.

The two companies also plan to jointly develop intelligent Robotaxi service hubs, designed as one-stop operational centers that integrate dispatch, maintenance and fleet management. Data collaboration will form another core element of the partnership, with a focus on collecting and analysing multimodal data from complex operating environments to refine automation algorithms and improve system efficiency.
CaoCao, backed by Geely Holding Group, is pursuing a full-stack Robotaxi strategy that combines purpose-built vehicles, autonomous driving systems and intelligent operations. The company has steadily expanded its Robotaxi ecosystem in 2025 through partnerships covering satellite communications, asset tokenisation, low-altitude mobility networks and international autonomous driving pilots.
DOBOT brings experience from large-scale deployment of collaborative, humanoid and multi-legged robots across sectors such as automotive manufacturing and consumer electronics, with more than 100,000 units installed worldwide. The company is now aiming to extend that practical robotics expertise into autonomous mobility operations.
