Canyon has introduced its Citylite and Citylite:ON bicycles in the EMEA region, offering lightweight, urban-focused bikes designed for commuting and city riding.
The Citylite:ON electric bike is equipped with a Bosch Performance Line 600 W motor paired with a Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub gear, delivering up to 75 Nm of torque.
It features a low-maintenance Gates CDC belt drive and a removable 400 Wh battery, offering an assistance range of up to 85 km (52.8 miles) in eco mode and 40 km (24.8 miles) in turbo mode. A 250 Wh Powermore range extender is also available to increase the bike’s range by an additional 50 km (31 miles).
The Citylite:ON comes in step-over and step-through aluminum frame variants with carbon forks, weighing 22.1 kg (48.1 lbs) and 21.6 kg (47.6 lbs), respectively.
Features include Bosch Purion 200 display, Canyon Promax urban clean disc brakes, Supernova Starstream front light, M15 rear light with brake function, wide Maxxis DTR-1 tires, and an SP Connect SPC+E-Cap smartphone mount with wireless charging.
Accessories include rear luggage racks, child seats, front carriers, a tow bar, frame lock, and bottle holder mounts.
Canyon’s standard Citylite model is lighter, weighing 15.94 kg (35.1 lbs) for the step-over and 15.88 kg (35 lbs) for the step-through frames, and uses a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear with a Gates CDN belt drive. Pricing for the Citylite:ON starts at €2,999, while the Citylite begins at €1,499. Both bikes are available on Canyon’s official website.
