The bicycle company CAKE made a breakthrough, by launching three variants of children’s bicycles such as Ready, Steady, and Go for children’s learning before riding a motorcycle as an adult.
CAKE Ready is a small gray-and-white aluminum balance bike. This bike is specially designed for children 1.5 to 4 years old, and weighs only 6.6 pounds.
The use of this bike is intended to help children develop their first concept of balance, and is purely a push-type bike with no pedals attached yet.
Then there’s the CAKE Steady, a 16-inch single-speed mountain bike that has a gray-and-white finish. Size and character intended for children 3.5 years and up, weighs 15.4 pounds.
After mastering balance with CAKE Ready, CAKE Steady is here to help with fine motor skills and coordination as well as lifting both feet off the ground via pedals.
For the third variant, the CAKE Go is an electric off-road motorcycle, intended for children aged 6 years and over. The top speed is 25 miles per hour, and the bike weighs up to 70.7 pounds when the battery is installed.
The range is one hour on a single charge. Power can be adjusted from 600 watts to 1.5 kilowatts, and is left to the discretion of the child’s parent or guardian.
These three children’s bikes from CAKE begin shipping worldwide on May 15, 2022.
