BYD announced that the company has delivered 1,000 Atto 3 vehicles to Australia. Atto 3 is the international name for BYD Yuan Plus which was launched at the end of February.
At the same time, BYD went on pre-sale in Australia and Now, the model is getting closer to being available in kangaroo land.
BYD announced on Twitter today that the company has delivered 1,000 Atto 3 vehicles to Australia.

The BYD Atto 3 is the first SUV to use e-platform 3.0. This electric SUV is also projected for the global market, at the Guangzhou auto show last November.
On February 19, BYD officially went on pre-sale in Australia under the Atto 3 name with official guidance prices from A$44,990 to A$47,990 (approximately $32,350 to $34,500), the company said at the time.
This compact SUV has a length, width and height of 4,455 mm, 1,875 mm and 1,615 mm, respectively, and a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. The BYD Atto 3 has a combined CLTC range of 430 km for the version with the 49.92 kWh battery pack and 510 km for the version with the 60.48 kWh battery pack.
Apart from Australia, the BYD Atto 3 will also enter the Singapore market, but no pricing has been announced.
On July 21, the BYD Atto 3 together with BYD Seal and BYD Dolphin became the company’s chosen vehicle to enter the passenger car market in Japan.
