In addition to the upcoming plug-in hybrid, BYD will begin selling the Sealion 7 crossover, its fourth fully electric vehicle, in Japan starting in April. The company is focused on broadening its offerings and increasing its dealer network within the Japanese market.

The new plug-in hybrid will combine a traditional fuel engine with a battery, allowing customers to switch between the two power sources.
