BYD Atto 3 is the global name for BYD Yuan Plus. This car has been present in several countries such as Australia, Thailand and Europe. The BYD Atto 3 measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, 1,615 mm in height and has a 2,720 mm wheelbase.
This large dimension was realized thanks to the use of the e-Platform 3.0 modular platform which was also used to develop BYD Dolphin.
In terms of performance, the BYD Atto 3 is equipped with a front-wheel-drive electric motor capable of spitting out 150 kW or 201 hp and 310 Nm of torque.
When compared to the MG ZS EV, Atto 3 has a motor whose power is 20 kW or 26.8 hp more powerful and the torque is more powerful 30 Nm.
BYD claims the Atto 3 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds.
Regarding the battery, Atto 3 is equipped with a Blade Battery which is available in two capacity options, namely 49.92 kWh and 60.48 kWh.
He claims that with the largest battery, the Atto 3 can cover a distance of 420 kilometers according to the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) standard.
Atto 3, of course, is equipped with the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) feature. The ADAS Atto 3 features consist of Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Collision Warning, Rear Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking.
Atto 3 also gets a panoramic sunroof, one touch open/close tailgate, heated electric mirrors, digital instruments, 12.8-inch head unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charger, and Dirac 8 speaker audio.
For charging, Atto 3 has a Combined Charging System (CCS) 2 port that supports fast charging with a maximum power of 80 kW.
