BYD has revealed pricing and specifications for the SEAL 6 DM-i in Saloon and Touring body styles for the UK market, featuring the brand’s Super Hybrid DM-i powertrain and its first estate model for Europe. Orders are now open, with first customer deliveries expected to begin in December 2025.
The SEAL 6 DM-i Saloon starts at £33,990 for the Boost trim and £36,990 for the Comfort trim, while the Touring version is priced from £34,990 and £37,990 respectively. Both variants combine electric-only driving capability with hybrid efficiency, offering up to 87 miles of electric range in city conditions and up to 935 miles of total range in the Saloon Boost configuration.

The model uses BYD’s LFP Blade Battery, available in two sizes: 10.08 kWh for the Boost and 19 kWh for the Comfort version. The Comfort trim supports 6.6 kW AC and 26 kW DC fast charging, capable of recharging from 30% to 80% in approximately 23 minutes. A standard 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows users to power external devices directly from the vehicle.

The Touring model emphasizes practicality, offering between 500 and 1,535 litres of cargo space with a standard power tailgate. Both versions feature a 2,790 mm wheelbase and come equipped with a range of comfort and safety technologies.

Comfort trims add premium features such as heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof, ambient lighting, and a 15.6-inch touchscreen. The SEAL 6 DM-i range reflects BYD’s continued expansion in the European market, combining long-distance efficiency, practical design, and advanced hybrid technology tailored for UK customers.
