BRP, the Canadian powersports company known for brands such as Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Can-Am, has unveiled the 2026 Can-Am Outlander Electric ATV, a model the company says will deliver top-tier performance while advancing its electric product strategy.

The Outlander Electric uses BRP’s in-house Rotax E-Power drivetrain, the same modular platform featured in its electric motorcycles and snowmobiles. The company said the electric ATV produces 47 horsepower and 53 lb-ft of torque, with selectable ride modes for recreational, work and sport use. It also offers a towing capacity of 1,830 pounds, exceeding the ratings of some gasoline-powered ATVs from Polaris, Honda and BRP’s own lineup.

Range is listed at up to 50 miles (80 km) from an 8.9 kWh battery, which can charge from 20% to 80% in about 50 minutes using a Level 2 charger. The vehicle is also engineered for low noise, with features such as liquid cooling and optimized suspension designed to deliver a quieter ride for uses including farming, hunting, or park services.

It’s powerful, quiet, and true to what we do at BRP. It shows how we bring purposeful innovation to life.”

The Outlander Electric, priced at $12,999, is available through Can-Am’s website and dealers. BRP said the launch marks a further step in its broader electrification strategy, which includes motorcycles, snowmobiles and utility vehicles.
