Barcelona-based electric motorcycle startup Stark Future has unveiled the VARG SM, a street-legal Supermoto designed for high-performance riding in urban and track environments. The new model builds on the company’s motocross-focused VARG MX platform but has been reengineered with updated suspension, tighter geometry, and a lightweight chassis optimized for asphalt.

Stark said the VARG SM delivers up to 80 horsepower and 914 Nm of torque at the rear wheel, making it one of the most powerful production Supermotos in terms of power-to-weight ratio. The bike features fully adjustable KYB suspension, Brembo radial brakes, and premium components throughout, including a forged aluminum subframe, high-strength steel frame, and CNC-machined hubs.

“This new model is designed to offer both track-ready performance and practical urban rideability,” Stark said, highlighting its combination of raw power and controllable handling. The VARG SM’s 7.2 kWh magnesium honeycomb battery provides an estimated 50-mile range under the WMTC cycle and can be charged in one to two hours via a portable 3.3 kW charger.

The motorcycle incorporates an Android-based “Arkenstone” display that allows riders to adjust throttle response, power output, regenerative braking, and engine braking, while also providing GPS navigation, over-the-air updates, and live ride data. Stark emphasized that the VARG SM is designed to be accessible, offering street-legal compliance in Europe, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand, and compatibility with A1 licenses in some markets.

The VARG SM is available in two versions: a 60-horsepower standard model priced at $12,900 USD and an 80-horsepower Alpha variant at $13,900 USD, with regional pricing for Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Stark plans to sell the bike through its global dealer network of more than 500 locations as well as directly from its website.
