The BMW i4 eDrive35 2023 electric car is officially launched with a smaller battery pack. This model has a maximum range of 260 miles and will fill the segment under the eDrive40 and M50 models with a single rear-mounted electric motor.

The BMW i4 eDrive35 is equipped with a 70.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. The electric motor used produces 281 PS of power and 399 Nm of torque, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km per hour can be completed in 5.8 seconds.

The BMW i4 eDrive35 is compatible with 180 kilowatt DC fast charging. With this charging, this electric car is able to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 32 minutes.

Coming with a smaller battery pack, the i4 eDrive35 has a cheaper selling price than the model with a large battery pack. The BMW i4 eDrive35 starts at US$ 52,395. The price includes shipping costs.

For comparison, the eDrive40 retails for $56,895 and the M50 is priced at $68,295.

BMW will start producing the i4 eDrive35 in the fourth quarter of 2022 at their factory in Munich, Germany. Shipments of this electric car will begin for the United States market in the first quarter of 2023.
