Blink Charging, a leading charge point operator, has announced plans to install 50 electric vehicle charging stations across select locations in Mexico. The initiative is part of the Porsche Destination Programme and will offer free charging for Porsche drivers at participating sites.
The new chargers will be deployed at premium hotels, retail centers, and restaurants throughout Mexico, according to a Blink statement. In addition to free charging at these locations, Porsche owners will receive a 35% discount at all other Blink Charging stations in the country.

The deployment will feature Blink’s IQ200 charging stations, which provide up to 19.2 kW of power and are designed for a seamless user experience. Blink will own, operate, and maintain the chargers, while host locations will receive a share of the revenue generated. The stations are set to go live this month.
“We’re excited to be working with Porsche to bring our cutting-edge charging technology and services to these travel destinations in Mexico,” said Mike Battaglia, President and CEO of Blink Charging. “Hospitality destinations are a key driver behind EV accessibility in LATAM and play a pivotal and dynamic role in driving forward the progress and acceptance of EV technology.”
