Bergamont has introduced the E-Horizon SUV FS 10, a new electric bike designed for diverse terrains, blending characteristics of mountain and trekking bikes. The model features full suspension and a robust motor system, though its versatility comes with a high price and considerable weight.

Marketed as an “SUV e-bike,” the E-Horizon SUV FS 10 shares its frame with the Bergamont E-Revox FS series and includes a suspension fork and rear shock absorber, both offering 130 millimeters of travel. The bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX motor, paired with an 800 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. A Bosch Intuvia 100 display provides ride data, while a Mini Remote enables access to additional features, including a smart walk assist function.

A Shimano Cues 10-speed derailleur system is fitted to accommodate various riding conditions, complemented by hydraulic disc brakes on both the front and rear. Additional equipment includes a luggage rack, mudguards, and an LED lighting system with brake light functionality. The bike weighs 64.4 pounds (29.2 kilograms) and supports a maximum system weight of 353 pounds (160 kilograms).

With a price of 5,499 euros ($5,900) or 5,099 pounds ($6,400), availability remains limited in certain markets. “This versatility, however, comes at a cost in terms of the steep price tag and the high weight,” according to the manufacturer’s description.
