Fleet operator Ayvens is teaming up with Plugsurfing to manage charging for 600,000 electric vehicles across 42 countries, starting with a white-label app in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and the UK. Plans are in place to expand the service further across Europe.
The app provides drivers with real-time availability and transparent pricing, with authentication via RFID or in-app options. For fleet operators, a portal enables card and driver management, monitoring of charging sessions across public, home, and workplace locations, spend control, policy compliance, and reporting at both country and operator levels.
“Our collaboration with Plugsurfing allows us to enrich our EV offering and deliver a charging solution that enhances the driver experience and optimises fleet operations for our clients across Europe,” said Annie Pin, Chief Commercial Officer at Ayvens. “Providing a seamless charging experience allows us to address a major obstacle to the adoption of electric vehicles.”
Tom Rowlands, Managing Director of Global EV Solutions at Corpay, Plugsurfing’s parent company, added: “This partnership highlights the power of Plugsurfing’s platform to deliver fleet solutions that scale. At the heart of our offer is the fleet portal, which gives businesses the tools to manage cards, track spend, and gain actionable insights across public, home, and workplace charging.”
The collaboration is part of Ayvens’ strategy to simplify EV operations for fleet operators and support wider adoption of electric mobility across Europe.
