AVATR expanded its global footprint on November 21 with its official entry into Latin America, introducing the brand and launching the AVATR 11 at the São Paulo International Motor Show.

Brazil, one of the world’s largest automotive markets, has been selected as the company’s strategic base for future expansion across the Americas.

The event also included the regional reveal of the AVATR 012, a limited-edition model developed with designer Kim Jones, establishing a dual-flagship presence for the brand in the premium smart NEV segment.

The AVATR 11, the company’s first mass-produced model to be introduced in Brazil, meets the country’s LCVM environmental standards and CAT safety requirements. Developed with significant input from AVATR’s Munich design center, the SUV positions itself as an intelligent coupé-style EV and has received a 2024 Red Dot Design Award.

The model features a triple-screen cabin layout, zero-gravity seating, a British premium audio system, Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic glass roof and customizable ambient lighting.

The showcase also included the AVATR 012, limited to 700 units globally. The model features a liquid-silver exterior finish and a cabin using vegetable-tanned leather, reflecting the signature styling of the AVATR 0 series. The vehicle broadens AVATR’s portfolio as the company seeks differentiation in the luxury NEV market.

To support its expansion in Brazil, AVATR has partnered with CAOA, the country’s largest vehicle manufacturer and distributor, enabling nationwide retail coverage. The move continues the company’s international rollout following earlier entries into Thailand, the UAE and Singapore.

AVATR now operates across four major regions—ASEAN, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Middle East & Africa, and Latin America—and reports a global customer base above 210,000. The company plans to enter Europe in 2026 and aims to reach more than 80 countries with 700 sales outlets by 2030.
