Changan Automobile opened Auto Guangzhou 2025 with a long-term plan to accelerate its electrification strategy, announcing it will launch more than 50 new energy vehicle (NEV) models by 2030.

All upcoming products will be based on the company’s new Tiānshū intelligent architecture, which Changan says will serve as the foundation for its next generation of electric and intelligent vehicles.

The company also aims for overseas deliveries to account for over 30% of its total sales by the end of the decade, underscoring a stronger strategic emphasis on international expansion.

Recent sales performance highlights Changan’s momentum. The automaker delivered about 278,000 vehicles in October, up 11% from a year earlier. NEV volumes rose 36% year on year to 119,000 units, while exports increased 25% to 58,000 units. The figures reflect consistent growth across both domestic and overseas markets as the company works to build a wider global footprint.

Changan’s three NEV brands—AVATR, DEEPAL and NEVO—continued to drive the gains. DEEPAL posted global sales of 36,792 units in October, propelled by the S05, which recorded more than 20,000 units. Total deliveries for the first ten months rose 57% year on year.

NEVO sold 36,378 units in October, marking the third consecutive month above 30,000 units, with the Q07 SUV contributing 11,637 units and approaching 80,000 cumulative sales since launching in April. AVATR registered 13,506 units in October; during the month it introduced the AVATR 12 four-LiDAR edition at a limited starting price of RMB 259,900, followed by two new AVATR 06 variants—an REEV and a BEV—priced at RMB 204,900 and RMB 214,900 after incentives.
