Solaris and Hermes signed a contract for ten Trollino 18s electric buses which are scheduled to arrive in the city of Arnhem in the first half of 2024. Dutch transport company Hermes will get an electric bus equipped with a traction battery with a capacity of about 90 kWh. Heliox announced a partnership with US commercial vehicle group Paccar to supply DC chargers for electric trucks in North America and Europe. Heliox has been known as a charging infrastructure specialist. The deal between Heliox and Paccar involves the DAF Paccar brand in Europe and the Kenworth and Peterbilt brands in North America. In Europe, Paccar will offer 40 kW mobile chargers and stationary fast chargers with outputs ranging from 150 kW to 360 kW. Daimler Trucks has announced that the Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul electric truck, which was just introduced at IAA Transportation 2022 yesterday, has received a vehicle order letter (SPK) for 50 units. The order came from a German logistics company, Hegelmann Group.
