McFarlane Telfer has placed an order for 20 new Farizon Auto SV electric vans to support its nationwide team of service engineers as the company transitions toward electric light commercial vehicles. The City of New York said it now operates the largest law enforcement fleet of electrified vehicles in North America, following the addition of 103 new electric vehicles across city agencies. Virgin Media O2 has ordered more than 100 Renault Master E-Tech electric vans to support its network engineering operations, as the British telecoms group continues to expand its electric vehicle fleet. Porto has placed its first hydrogen-powered Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system into operation, deploying a fleet of fuel cell buses supplied by CaetanoBus. The project includes twelve 18-metre articulated H2.CityGold buses and forms part of a broader hydrogen mobility ecosystem developed for the city. The Portuguese manufacturer is acting as consortium leader and coordinating the implementation of the entire system. Berlin-based electric truck rental start-up Juna said it plans to significantly expand its fleet after two years of operations, targeting about 200 battery-electric trucks by the end of 2026 from just over 50 currently in service.
