Tesla’s electric car sales in the Chinese auto market are reported to have nearly tripled in December 2021 compared to the same period the previous year. As of last month, Tesla has sold 70,847 units made in China. According to a report from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), this is Tesla’s highest monthly car sales record. Rivian Automotive Inc reports that they have produced 1,015 vehicles by 2021. Of these, Rivian has delivered as many as 920 vehicles to their customers, as reported by Reuters and TechCrunch on Tuesday (11/1/2022).
