Volkswagen is rumored to have updated the ID.4 electric car for 2022 with a number of changes. One of them is to increase the range offered from before.
Volkswagen claims that the Volkswagen ID.4 2022 electric vehicle software and hardware will be updated. Not only that, the company will also apply some interior adjustments.
The electric vehicle is equipped with a more powerful 135 kWh onboard charger. Previously, the Volkswagen ID.4 only used a 125 kWh battery.
The German car manufacturer is also known to be introducing an over-the-air (OTA) update in 2022. This OTA is expected to come with an auto-hold function along with a ‘plug and charge' system.
Although it has not provided official information about the update, the Volkswagen ID.4 electric car is known to be getting a bigger range. It is known, this electric vehicle can reach more than 418 km.
